Chamber of Commerce of the Polish Hotel Industry (IGHP) is a business partner in the field of Hospitality and gastronomy.

This specialty is a response to the needs of the business sector tourism. In the course of studies, you will find out how to effectively organize tourist trips, congresses, conferences, motivational events and company picnics. You will learn how to independently plan business events such as fairs, study tours, study press or corporate events. Choosing this speciality, you can become a member of the Meeting Professional International (MPI) and take part in international branch conferences organized in London, Copenhagen, Davos, Dusseldorf or Barcelona.

MeetingPlanner.Pl is a business partner in the field of Business Tourism.

This speciality is addressed to those of you who would like to join their professional future with work in tourism, e.g. in travel agencies. In the course of studies, you will find out what it means to arrange an attractive tour. You will learn how to creatively cooperate with a group of tourists or how to cope in unexpected situations. You will get acquainted with the culture and history of different places in the world. You will gain knowledge and skills necessary to operate in the profession of leisure time animator.

Active recreation is becoming more and more popular. The market thus needs qualified staff who will be able to provide clients with products they expect in a professional way. If you can see your future career in planning and organizing recreation in tourism, as well as in developing and fostering pro-health behaviours, this is a speciality for you. In the course of studies, you will gain professional knowledge and skills adjusted to the emerging market trends and innovations. You will learn how to gain and ensure clients’ loyalty.

The condition for launching a specialization in the field of study is to gather the appropriate number of students, i.e. not less than 15 people.

The Study Programme

The programme of bachelor’s degree studies in the field of Tourism and recreation at the Vistula School of Hospitality in Warsaw is adjusted to the labour market requirements. In the course of classes, workshops, strategic and simulation games, you will gain practical knowledge and skills. You will study under the supervision of outstanding experts, practitioners well-known in the branch as well as recognized academic teachers. Where can I find information about the exam session?

Exam session dates are given in the organisation of the academic year. Each lecturer is obliged to inform students about the date of the exam / final test.

Where can I find the timetable?

The timetable is available in the USOSweb (University Study-Oriented System). The link to the USOSweb is available on the University’s website, in the Intranet tab. Students can see their individual timetable after logging the USOS system.

How can I collect my student ID card?

Student ID cards for students of the 1st semester can be collected at the reception of the University, the remaining cards should be collected at the Dean’s Office.
