Graduate of Mikołaj Kopernik University in Toruń and Main School of Planning and Statistics (now Warsaw School of Economics) in Warsaw. PhD in economic sciences. Specialization in issues related to the tourist market as a whole and to individual sectors of this market: hotels, travel agencies and transport as well as the influence of information technologies on the tourist market. Author of several books and numerous articles in the field of marketing, management and economics of the tourist market.

Didactic/research interests:

  • economics of tourism and recreation;
  • economics of tourist and hotel enterprises;
  • information technologies in tourism and hospitality;
  • transport w tourism;
  • marketing of tourist services.
