You will also gain competences necessary to support your clients in their work on enhancing their fitness, performance and physical condition. You will learn the technology of food processing and the art of composing dishes. You will practise and hone your professional skills in the course of professional placements in specialised units.

You will learn to determine the nutritional needs of individual people resulting from and adjusted to their lifestyle, taking into account their dietary preferences, ensuring their good physical and mental condition or improvement of the state of health. You will also become aware of the absolute necessity of personalising and tailoring human nutritional needs, with particular attention given to the needs of a healthy individual and an individual threatened with civilisation diseases. You will learn to develop educational programmes allowing to shape proper nutritional habits. In the course of practical classes, you will gain skills in the field of nutritional counselling, nutritional planning and communication.

Specialties in the field of Dietetics

This speciality is addressed to people who want to cooperate with sportsmen of different disciplines in developing a diet which would ensure their adequate performance and condition. In the course of studies, you will also learn how to cooperate with people training in gyms or fitness clubs, amateur runners or people preparing for expeditions or mounting climbing.

This speciality has been designed having in mind people who are planning to work with people visiting the dietician’s practice. In the course of classes in psychology and interpersonal communication, you will prepare for cooperation with clients and learn to recognize their needs.

The condition for launching a specialization in the field of study is to gather the appropriate number of students, i.e. not less than 15 people.

Where can I find information about the exam session?

Exam session dates are given in the organisation of the academic year. Each lecturer is obliged to inform students about the date of the exam / final test.

Where can I find the timetable?

The timetable is available in the USOSweb (University Study-Oriented System). The link to the USOSweb is available on the University’s website, in the Intranet tab. Students can see their individual timetable after logging the USOS system.

How can I collect my student ID card?

Student ID cards for students of the 1st semester can be collected at the reception of the University, the remaining cards should be collected at the Dean’s Office.
