Virtual job fair JobSpot 2021 “New career perspective”.
Are you looking for an internship, work practice, or job? Great! The sooner you get to know the market, the better. Taking up a job, you will not only earn money. You will also gain experience and develop competences. Vistula universities invite you to the JobSpot – virtual job fair. The event will take place on April the 15th from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm, but before that, you can take part in a series of exciting webinars, which will effectively prepare you for a meeting with recruiters.
JobSpot is a formula that has been working at Vistula Universities for years. It allows students and graduates to find a job, internship, or work practice. It is also an opportunity to gain and deepen your knowledge about the labour market, as well as learn about your own competences, recruitment techniques, and requirements for potential employees. It is a forum for the generation of inspiring and fruitful meetings – a unique opportunity, especially for those who are looking for apprenticeships, jobs, or internships, during the holiday season.
This year’s new feature will be the practices and internships panel, which will include:
- presentations of compulsory student internships,
- tips and valuable advice,
- information about the labour market, and companies with which universities co-operate.
The panel will be led by the Careers and Practices Department. The event will be held in Polish and English, divided into students of Vistula University and VSH.
Earlier, from April 12th-13th, you can take part in individual consultations lead by experts from the Career and Practices Department – in Polish and English. During them, they will analyse and improve your CV, which you will present to potential employers.
If you want to consult with a specialist regarding your CV, send it by April 11th to the following address: abkvistula@vistula.edu.pl. Then, you will receive feedback with the specific time of such a consultation, which will take place on the Teams platform. The consultant will call you.
The Career and Practices Department also invites everyone to a webinar, titled: ’New Career Perspective’. This is an element of supporting students in the labour market, in times of the pandemic. During the on-line meeting, you will get to know about your strengths and gain an advantage over other candidates. You will take the Gallup Clifton Strengths Test and profit from an internationally recognised certification – absolutely for free (an offer for VSH students)!
