Vistula Universities’ Jubilees
Vistula Universities celebrate their thirtieth anniversary, whilst the Vistula School of Hospitality clocks up a quarter of a century of scientific and didactic work, as well as activities for the socio-economic environment.
It is a great celebration for our entire academic community. While we are future-oriented and development-focused, we value our history, and promote respect for our predecessors. It is a strong foundation on which we build our position, today.
The celebration of the Jubilee of the Vistula Universities will begin on October the 25th, with the Grand Gala at the Teatr Polski in Warsaw, combined with the Inauguration of the Academic New Year, 2022/2023. The event, with the participation of many distinguished guests, lecturers, and students will be an opportunity to remind everyone, that people possessing a vision of building strong universities, capable of playing an important role on the Polish educational market, are behind our joint success. The development based on reliable work, fusion, and inclusion of various teams, has led us to better use of infrastructure, enriching the study offer and strengthening the scientific potential.
An important element of the jubilee celebrations will be the Vistula University National Scientific Conference: ‘Challenges for the growth of the Polish economy’.
It will be attended by eminent lecturers from Vistula University, who conduct innovative research, and have ambitions, for their scientific activity, to respond to contemporary social challenges and needs. The aim of the debate, which will take place on November the 8th, is to show the prospects for further socio-economic development of Poland, and to make comparisons of its situation with other countries, and to analyse the strengths and weaknesses of political and systemic changes taking place in our country.

Poland is changing intensively.
The whole world, and Vistula Universities, are also changing. There is a pandemic, there is a war in Ukraine, energy prices are rampant. It all takes its toll on us. We want to share our experience with future generations, so a time capsule will be buried on the campus, as part of the jubilee celebrations. It will contain items symbolising the events of the last year.

A series of jubilee lectures is also part of the anniversary celebrations of the Vistula University, including Spring Culture Fest, as well.
This is a unique project, in which our students put their hearts into it, presenting the tradition, cuisine, and culture of their countries. The event is evidence of openness and sensitivity to cultural and artistic diversity. After all, our universities educate students from over a hundred countries. High internationalisation is our hallmark.

Architecture students have already demonstrated exceptional commitment to the Jubilees of our universities.
They prepared green zone projects on campus. It is supposed to be not only a place for relaxation, but also for outdoor activities. Out of 20 works, the best three were awarded.
Graduation
A summary of the joint celebration of the thirtieth anniversary of Vistula University, and the twenty-fifth anniversary of the Vistula School of Hospitality will be presented at the Graduation ceremony, ending the academic year 2022/2023. During the event, awards for outstanding graduates will be presented.
