“Vistula Compasses” 2025 – honouring the top graduates in tourism and hospitality

The Vistula School of Hospitality (VSH) held the sixth edition of its prestigious “Vistula Compasses” competition, which recognizes outstanding alumni for their professional achievements in the fields of tourism, hospitality, HORECA, and the event industry.

The awards ceremony took place on March 31, 2025, as part of the celebrations for Global Meetings Industry Day (GMID). The event brought together a wide range of guests, including representatives from academia, business, government, local authorities, the tourism sector, as well as students and faculty from Vistula University.

– Each year, we proudly honour our graduates who achieve success in their careers, overcome challenges, and, above all, pursue their passion in the hospitality industry – said Professor Krzysztof Celuch, PhD, Rector of VSH. – Their accomplishments are the best proof of the high quality and practical relevance of education at our university – he added.

Winners of the “Vistula Compasses” 2025

This year, the competition jury presented awards in three key categories:

1. Rising Star

Remigiusz Maziarek, Sales Manager at DMC Rovaniemi, recognized for his dynamic career development and innovative approach to sales in tourism.

2. Open Vistula Compass

Żaneta Grabara, Safety, Security, Health, Environmental Protection Officer at Roche Polska Sp. z o.o., awarded for her outstanding achievements in safety management and environmental protection within an international corporation.

3. Hospitality

Michał Kozak, President of the Management Board at Hotel Arłamów S.A., honored for his effective leadership of a luxury hotel and implementation of innovative solutions in the hospitality industry.
