Safe banking

Want to feel safe when banking? You just need to learn a few rules and stay vigilant. The scientific club “Klub Bankowca” invites you to a meeting with experts from the PKO BP bank. You will get to know how fraudsters work and how to protect yourself against them.

The dynamic development of the banking sector and the digitization of many activities carry a number of potential threats. The most common one is data phishing. This phenomenon is based on the interception of data needed to log in to the online banking system.

Infecting your device with malware is also dangerous.

You will get to know how to protect yourself against attacks by cybercriminals during a meeting with representatives of the Cybersecurity and Digital Services Departments of PKO BP bank.

The event will be held under the slogan “Safe banking – forever young”.

During it you will learn:

  • general principles of operation of fraudsters,
  • scheme of cybercriminals’ actions based on selected methods (e.g., BLIK or OLX/VINTED fraud);
  • principles of protection against fraud,
  • rules for safe use of mobile banking,
  • 10 rules of cybersecurity.

Meeting participants can also take part in a competition and win prizes. The questions will cover issues presented at the meeting.

The event will take place on October the 24th at 3:00 p.m. in Aula 4.
