About the Speaker
Dr. Monish Tourangbam is a Senior Research Consultant at Chintan Research Foundation whose work focuses on U.S. foreign policy, grand strategy, domestic politics, and regional engagements. His research also covers key issues such as hegemony and counter-hegemony, shifts in the global order, and South–Southeast Asian regional security.
Previously, he served as Honorary Director at the Kalinga Institute of Indo-Pacific Studies, Associate Editor at India Quarterly and Indian Foreign Affairs Journal, and Associate Professor at Amity University. He also held academic positions at the Manipal Academy of Higher Education and the Observer Research Foundation.
Dr. Tourangbam has been a Visiting Faculty at the University of Cincinnati, Ohio, and a Visiting Fellow at the Stimson Center in Washington, D.C. As an active voice in strategic affairs, he has represented India in multiple international dialogues, delivered lectures at leading institutions, and regularly contributes expert commentary to media and policy platforms.
