Vistula School of Hospitality Students Triumph at IMEX 2025!
Students from the Vistula School of Hospitalityhave conquered the global MICE stage! Viktoriia Yushkaliuk won the top prize in the MPI Foundation Student Scholarship Award, Nuray Hamidli reached the finals of the prestigious IMEX-MPI University Challenge, and the Vistula Choir captivated the audience during the opening ceremony of IMEX 2025 in Frankfurt.
IMEX is a key international event that brings together leaders from the meetings, incentives, conferences, and events (MICE) industry. Participation in IMEX is not only prestigious—it’s a unique opportunity for young professionals to showcase their talent and creativity. This year, students from the Vistula School of Hospitality made an especially powerful impression in Frankfurt.
Viktoriia Yushkaliuk – leader of the future
The greatest success was achieved by Viktoriia Yushkaliuk. Through her deep engagement and strong academic foundation, she demonstrated a true passion for the meetings industry. Her presentation, “Mental Health & War: Healing the Invisible Wounds”, delivered at EMEC 2025 in Istanbul, deeply moved both the audience and the jury. Her journey culminated in a proud moment at the IMEX Academy Awards Gala, where she received the MPI Foundation Student Scholarship Award from the hands of Meeting Professionals International (MPI) representatives.
Nuray Hamidli – bold and determined
Nuray Hamidli proved that self-confidence, belief in one’s project, strong narrative skills, and a powerful presentation are the keys to success. Thanks to her determination, she made it to the finals of the IMEX-MPI University Challenge, standing among the best young leaders from Poland. Her performance was the result of her hard work, and it marks the beginning of a promising career in the MICE industry.
A year of preparation, six elimination rounds, and a grand finale on the world stage
The path to this remarkable achievement began in June 2024, when an initial meeting inspired a group of Vistula School of Hospitality students to take on the challenge. Intensive preparations followed—full of rehearsals, consultations, reflection, and unwavering determination. Our students successfully advanced through six elimination stages, delivered a semifinal presentation at the Future Leaders Forum in Warsaw, and ultimately reached the coveted IMEX 2025 event in Frankfurt.
The event opened with a breathtaking performance by the Vistula Choir, which set a tone of collaboration, passion, and youthful energy. The emotional performance was warmly received by the international audience and proved that the Vistula School of Hospitality is more than just a university—it’s a vibrant community of talented individuals.
