Vistula Beach Volleyball Players Crowned Champions of Warsaw!

Vistula University’s beach volleyball players delivered an exceptional performance at the Academic Championships of Warsaw in Beach Volleyball, held in May 2025. Aleksandra Bąkiewicz and Katarzyna Stachlewska dominated the tournament, taking the first place among 28 teams representing universities from across the city and claiming the gold medal.

Also worthy of recognition is the impressive performance by Vistula’s second duo – Emilia Kaczmarzyk and Maja Nowakowska – who also secured their place in the semifinals of the Polish Academic Championships.

This marks yet another remarkable achievement for our student-athletes. Earlier this academic year, Vistula’s indoor volleyball team won the gold medal at the Academic Championships of Warsaw, highlighting the team’s strength and consistency across disciplines. Whether on the court or in the sand, our players continue to prove their talent, determination, and versatility, solidifying Vistula University’s status as a leading force in academic volleyball in the capital.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to our athletes and wish them continued success in the semifinals of the Polish Academic Championships.
