Inauguration ceremony of the New Academic Year 2024/2025
The inauguration ceremony of the New Academic Year 2024/2025 will be held on October the 24th at 11:00 a.m. in Aula No. 4. The event will be broadcast on-line on the Vistula University channel on Facebook.
Once again, we are going to open a new academic year, which is one of the most solemn moments in the life of Vistula University, and also an unique experience for students starting their studies. We are going to welcome them warmly. A solemn act of matriculation will take place during the ceremony.
The opening of the new academic year will also provide an opportunity to sum up the past 12 months and make plans for the next year. Traditional speeches will be given by our Universities’ Rectors: Professor Wawrzyniec Konarski, PhD, H.M. Rector of Vistula University, and Professor Krzysztof Celuch, PhD, H.M. Rector of the Vistula School of Hospitality.
The inaugural lecture titled Changing consumer behaviour and an evolving supply ecosystem – are these trajectories converging? will be given by Jadwiga Berbeka, PHD, Professor of the University of Economics in Cracow.
The ceremony will also include the awarding of doctoral diplomas.
